Choosie is at the ideal weight. but I smoke. but that means I should die younger and quickly, not strain the health system or live to get SS... I am a boon to cost-savings, really.

And I don't eat fast food, rarely eat processed food.

As to overweight, tho... I think they should raise it some. someone 20 pounds heavier than I, if they walk and eat well, is at least as healthy, and there is much science to back that up... if they aren't feeding themselves junk.

and you mentioned underweight - one of our health issues in this country is those underweight, and those who diet in ways that are not healthy... not with the goal of better health, but to fit some ideal image. As many point out, eathing a lot of fast food, processed food, sugar/corn/blah stuff is not good... anybody, about, stopping that would lose a few pounds... not to some strange ideal of 5'7" and 125, which is actually a strange idea and does not take into account differing body styles (small boned like me, or larger boned... broud shouldered, or itty shouldered like me... etc). If you look closely at literature on the subject, dieting constantly to reach some ideal weight to 'get a mate or keep a mate', is distructive to health. eating well and being active works. skinny people with tiny bones like me tend to break them when they get older, I'd just as soon have a lil more heft.

The Obama opponents frequently quote the Rassmussen poll numbers in support of their claim that Obama's approval ratings are on the decline. Here is another poll from Zogby which says that the number has bottomed out.

Regarding your poll, I am 12 pounds overweight.
==================================
Obama's Poll Numbers Seem to Bottom Out

Pollster John Zogby regularly updates our ObamaMeter. Each week, Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a rating of between 1 and 100. The ObamaMeter, however, is not a poll-generated job approval number. Instead, the Washington Whispers ObamaMeter is Zobgy's judgment on the performance of the president once multiple factors are considered.

"It was a better week for the president, with North Korea's pardon of two American journalists and potential to make progress on nuclear talks. He even has some conservatives nodding in approval. Passage of healthcare reform through House committees means at least momentum going into recess. The immediate task is to spin Tea Party protests at congressional town halls into a black eye for health plan opponents. The beer summit defused a tense situation and got the pres back on message. It's a good time for a vacation and a rewrite of the game plan for a fresh start. His poll numbers seem to have bottomed out and are ticking back up."
