That song still gives me chills.

I don't know if it's as well known down there, but here's his other masterpiece. It's consistently ranked with Four Strong Winds and Helpless as the best Canadian song ever (personally I vote for Blow at High Dough, but that's just me -g).

Lightfoot wrote it in 1967, Canada's centennial year. This crap was the "official" song ... (10 seconds is more than plenty):

(btw, I've never seen this video before, but unless someone's done some fancy editing, this would be one of the first music videos ever, judging from how young he looks).

Here's Young doing Four Strong Winds this past spring, btw ... not quite as good as the Comes a Time version, but it's nice to see he's still folking in the free world. <g>
