In a more public forum, so is Bill Maher, whose op-ed was characterized by American Thinker as a "pathetic tirade against conservatives" that "never rises above an eighth-grade schoolyard tantrum." Quoting the Curmudgeonly and Skeptical blog, "... when the left media get hysterical over someone, it's because that person or idea represents a political threat to the Democrat party. One that [the hysterical left media believes is in need of] killing." This vituperative editorial is strong evidence that charges regarding Obama's citizenship really do need to be answered more directly, rather than with the questionable "proofs" offered to date. No technical dismissals of the legal challenges, just the openness and transparency promised to the American people.
