I wouldn't normally reply to such a post, but have some time on my hands this morning, so what the hell. What you say, that 'birth certificate' is equivalent to 'certificate of live birth' is plausible and for many practical purposes true. There is the interesting situation that they are generated through different processes (they are not the exact, same pieces of paper) and that they are both purported to exist. And that a lot of money and time is being spent by somebody. I'm sure you are aware of this. I personally have no special knowledge of any of this and have not paid particular attention to this as an 'issue'. I am not sending out letters or making phone calls referencing it, it doesn't come up in conversation. For all I know Obama is the Manchurian Candidate or the Second Coming, and similarly neither of these ideas are occupying my time. So, I have no particular ax to grind, no special influence or access to the corridors of power and information, and I'm not trying to convince anybody of anything. Just some guy working on the house and schlepping his grandson around to soccer practice, spending a few quiet moments this morning pecking at a keyboard. Or maybe a toe sucking cross dresser coked out of her mind slurping a bloody mary, you decide. What weight you put on any particular post or posters drivel is entirely your own business. It's an anonymous internet board. Caveat emptor, old chap. ARS
