You mean "American" flagellation, not self flagellation.

Yeah, Obama has been "suckin up". So what? As far as I can tell the Iranians or anybody else hasn't been able to use Obama's comments for instant propaganda. Joe Biden on the other hand is a different story.

Teddy Roosevelt said, "Talk softly and carry a big stick" (or something like that).

I prefer the Teddy approach to the Cheney approach.

Obama's habit of self-flagelation has been evident for months.

Obama isn't out badmouthing himself. He is out badmouthing everything America did before he became President. That is more like treason than self-flagellation.
