I think Americans can live with the 5% of uninsured, just as they live with the 5% unemployed without qualm. Why let perfection be the enemy of the good?

I don't even believe illegals are part of the German 5% non insured fraction: this is mostly about self employed, who don't really have to sign up to any health insurance plan at all.

Add the illegals, where I don't believe the Germans run any accounts of those, to that.
