If the season ended right now, the Giant's would face the Phillies in the playoffs.

SAN FRANCISCO – In the second sellout in as many days in AT&T Park, the San Francisco took on the Philadelphia Phillies in the last game of a four-game series. The reigning World Champions tried to even out the series with a win, but in the end the hometown Giants won the game and the series...

After beating the World Champs, they can’t help but open some eyes...

“It’s just going to be a battle,” Hamels said when faced with the thought of playing the Giants in the playoffs. “They’re definitely a type of team that will go to the post-season just for the fact that they have really strong pitchers, so it’ll be interesting. It’ll be fun—definitely fun to watch what goes on.”
