I am long gold, long the long bond, long a miner, long Swissies, long the CAD, long an oil royalty trust, long a Canadian oil outfit, and long a commodities CEF. Long cash, which needs to be deployed and pronto.

Being long the long bond might turn out to be the contrarian play of my life.

With the exception of the Swissie, the Yuan and the CAD, is there any other major currency which has not been overprinted?

When everything starts to crash, where will folks go? Where will the rush to safety lead? Gold, of course, but that is too small a market IMO to accommodate the stampede. I think it might well be the long bond, again. And 'stuff' as well as strong currencies, of which I have plenty.

I do have some of the position hedged with TBT, though.
