According to NGVAmerica, and industry trade group, there are only 1,100 NGV fueling stations in the U.S., a small fraction of the 220,000 gas stations currently in operation.

I suspect that the conversions have generally been done by local engineering firms. You might want to look at Fuel Systems Solutions, Inc. (stock symbol: [t]FSYS[/t]) While it does not appear to be involved in gas station conversions, it offers an opportunity to potentially profit from the development of a larger market for vehicles powered by natural gas.

I need to note that I have not yet done a lot of due diligence on the company and do not yet own the stock.

Good point. I will keep that in mind as I Google away. <g> I imagine something will pop up and I will post it. Or anyone else comes across anything, please feel free to let us know.

Besides FSYS that Glenn mentions, there is this company involved in vehicle conversion (BAF Technologies)
