I've got about 3/4 of my nut divided between SRE (Sempra Energy) and WHR (Whirlpool) with the rest in cash. SRE provides E to the San Diego area. WHR has no debt and is in a great position to profit from a recovering economy. Both of these are solid companies that don't go down much, but seem to go up with the rest of the market. I've been pretty busy lately and don't have a lot of time to play the market. This is kind of a set it and forget it strategy.
