But you do not have a “right” to force the doctor to treat you without charge or to force others to pay for your treatment. The rights of some cannot require the coercion and sacrifice of others.

I had a chat with a Neurologist a few days ago. He estimates that for about 50% of his in-hospital consults he never gets paid.

Indirectly, indeed he IS being coerced -- if he'll refuse to see those "self-pay" patients he'll lose his hospital privileges.
