You see, thee italian mob used to advise its soldiers not to shower around with the money particularly after a big heist.

Checkout the Goodfellas scene where Henry Hill seized the fur coat and went mad at the soldiers telling them to stop it.

Kinda reminiscent of the scene from Goodfellas where Jimmy Conway (Robert DeNiro) "cautions" his colleague-thiefs not to spend the loot from the Lufthansa heist (the biggest in history before the TARP) conspicuously.

Of course they spent it anyway. Most ended up hanging from meat hooks in refrigerated trailers and such........
