They run lots of schools. Ask the military.

Did you ever wonder why your schools are paid by local tax? Did you ever wonder why the Federal goverment doesn't run even one school? It only controls extra funding to those schools that pass their tests and standards.

You contradicted sentence one and two with sentence three.
