Honey is good for you. Natural anti-bacterial/anti-fungal with a medium glycemic index. 1-2 teaspoons is nothing. As a post-workout treat it is especially good as it has been shown to enhance recovery better than other carbs/sugars.

Does anyone have a strong opinion about honey?

FWIW, after watching that video I got a list from nutritiondata.com of the highest fructose foods. Honey was in the top few.
