Honestly, there is so much horrific stuff in these bills that this particular point is not a big one.

There is zero doubt that a new government plan -- one bigger than Medicare -- will drive out competition. Given all of you business expertise, you certainly know that nobody compete when one of the "competitors" has unlimited money, right?

The Left has been totally critical of Walmart driving businesses out of traditional stores. But that's precise what you will do with a government option in health care.

I realize you probably support single payer. Most of you do. But for those of us who don't, this presents a far bigger problem than does any particular provision of the legislation.

This is why we are intent on stopping the Obama administration from taking over health care.

If I understood correctly, it was a Republican, Olympia Snowe, who put that language in there.
