With the extra CO2 and maybe even a bit more warmth due to the Greenhouse Effect, and with the genetic improvements to make water less of an issue [which it is anyway with more CO2] production should zoom. Food crops will also be improved.

Cane still won't be as cheap as oil, gas and coal, which can be mined cheaply.
