TT- I think you have a point- in my opinion a disaster and a big fall yesterday in ASEA would be very negative- I see no fundamental reasons for this market to be selling off- for me the fundamentals remain positive macro and micro- I and Mohan disagree on quality and interpretation of fundamentals- the Kahuna thread believes that markets are welll over priced I think businesses have to valued based on capitalisation of yield- on that count I suppose Tuesday morning action was according to our pundits on this thread begining of the end - it is this point which markets maturely rooved yesterday it is not beginning of the end it is beginning of market makers to realise that this is one hel of a rsiliant market and can stand these test of times.

I also believe that ASEA has a lot of potential and ASREAN markets wil not have a big impact on US corporate profitiblity- your post today clearly indicates on a more subtle level that ASEANs will not cut very much on aggregate demand- it is not beginning of 'ice age' as some expert predicted, the party has shown great maturity breaking at a right time and leaving the guests to go back home in a sober mood.

TT- I don't ever think that any of your posts makes me defensive- you raise good issues and in absence of people like you we all will be much poorer intellectually and otherwise. Keep it up . Best Regards Ike
