I would not discount Bolton's views; he is probably the most astute person currently in the FP arena.

Oh stop it.......Bolton was the most hated man at the UN when he was ambassador. He was noted for throwing his weight around like a bully. That's not diplomacy. Diplomacy is what Obama did behind the scenes to get those two women released.
