The schools in our county have one of the best music schools in the country. Lassiter probably has the best marching band in the country. I think they have one at the National Bands of America (BOA) competition every time they show up. Kennesaw Mountain is in the top ten, and Harrison was 12th the one and only time they competed in the National competition. South Cobb was one of the first National Champions. Harrison is one of the 5 best national concert bands. There is no ranking but they get invited to the BOA concert festival almost every year and only 5 are chosen, Lassiter, Kennesaw and a few other schools in this area show up at the top levels. Even the small schools have very good bands. The county doesn't have high taxes and business in this county has only slid a little. I suspect more construction soon. Maybe your state and local taxes are too high?
