There's a reason we're sympatico. In my house growing up, learning to cook was a survival skill!

LOL, my wife was a horrible cook. She was born and raised in England and admitted to never having an interest in it. In all our 38 years, she never prepared a holiday meal. I loved to cook so I gladly took that on. Of course, she helped when asked, but she generally left me alone in the kitchen.
