i'm talking about the fruit and veggies of today vs. previous years, specifically nutritional content. organic is another subject not related to the temporal issue i am trying to discuss

The word organic in terms of health has more religious than scientific significance. When I see something for sale advertised as organic, I ignore it because I know it is just a gimmick used to raise prices and facilitate sales to the gullible.
