No, that is not correct. The Fed has done the same enabling,
and that was only to provide liquidity to da boyz when things
are about to blow up. That, and wiping the windshield, of course.
By doing so they enabled derivative Ponzi scheme reach epic
proportions. Right now they are the losing counterparty, which
is, perhaps, even more major printing than actual printing.
They just could not invent anything better than to adopt that
position.
