pat.

never been happier.

why, do i sound grumpy? was just stating a fact in reply, and of course you were excluded for obvious reasons from my conclusions.
the obvious reason being, you were one of the voices of reason in aug-sept i was alluding to.

if i got up on a different side, i'd wake up my better 1/2.

k.

Sir Duke (aka Pat the Putz):

------->but I was saying I had been selling long-term...10 years plus...holdings for the past several weeks. I have little at this point (outside of cash) except mutual funds, a hedged position in GE, positions in DHMG, CDO, and a handful of other stuff.

One of us is gonna be wrong.
I disagreed with you yesterday.
You were gracious in your reply that you took no exception.

You are selling.
I am buying.
hmmmmm

Wonder what the unemployed scoutmaster....
errr..
has a bad connotation......
the newly homebound stock trader......
well, still not sounding good.......
the instigator of this fine thread----
yeah..that's it----
the fine forecastor
... the leader of the pack
.... the looming beacon of reason
........ the A V hisself is doing....? ? ?

Jeffers-----can you bring hisonner, the A V, out of his self imposed exile?

The forecast out of N E Texas, the finest sector of the finest state, is that the next three weeks will show the way for the entire market.
Make a mark on the INDU, the SOX, the SPX, the OEX, the RUT....
Check it out mid November.
Draw a trend line.
That's where we're headed when it comes time to shed the felt hats, the drab colors, the winter garb, and go to straw, white shoes, and romp around the Maypole.

If the Sir Duke is correct, I'll be dancing round the pole wearing sack cloth and ashes on my head , waving the tattered remains of my tattered stock certificates.

However, I've been known to shift with the winds and maybe it won't be that bad for me........ggggggg
