Translation: "I don't care how much sense government spending makes as long as it isn't on my dime". Not at all correct. There is a lot of government spending I support. I do not support government spending that destroys the nation's productivity, however. I don't support government spending that is wasteful (e.g., the so-called "Stimulus") or simply redistributing wealth. I don't support it if it is not of an essential nature (e.g., funding wars, national defense, national emergencies) and it increases the deficit. There is a lot I do think we should have and a HELL of a lot that we shouldn't. Contrast that with your own view, that you never met a government giveaway you didn't like.
