I think the single most serious objection is that the central government in Washington would become way too powerful and huge. This is totally against the principles on which this nation was founded. It's simply un-American. Which is exactly why statists covet the idea of socialized medicine. It gives them control of an additional 1/6th of the economy. ObamaCare will require community organizers to review every medical request for party affiliation prior to approval.
