Truff: I'm really getting interested in ETrade as a short.

Truff,

Don't do that. 10 months ago, when AOL was impossible to log onto (it still is), I put a ton of puts on it. They kept saying how many subs they had but you and I knew that it was a lie, that they were including the 30 day trials, and not excluding the massive cancellations they were getting.

I was lucky to get out with a very small profit. I almost ate it big time.

The lesson here: don't invest or short a stock like Etrade who's price has nothing to do with reality unless you have a very, very strong stomach.

Trufflette

I'd be very careful shorting EGRP. It started the year around 12 and has moved up substantially since. Earnings are up and will probably keep on rolling up.

People are creatures of habit and not as many will drop them as you might think. I think these past few days might have been a wakeup call for them to continue to upgrade their service (I was told they added 2 new servers on Mon.)

Someone recently put out a buy rec on them also. I don't follow them as much as I used to when I had my money in the stock.

Use puts if you go for the short.

Good Luck

Zebedee
