Neither statement is true......people with some skills are still paid only minimum wage and to my knowledge no liberal hates Walmart because they are "too competitive". That's utter nonsense. Walmart goes into small communities where there is no competition and pays minimum wage to everyone. That is the key to their success.

Walmart "associates" -- shelf stockers, cashiers, etc., are unskilled employees. These are jobs for people who can't do anything more substantial


The only one who makes a decent wage in a Walmart is the store manager; the rest are on bare subsistence pay. That's why they stick to small towns for their stores.
