My best guess - they'll go for the "public option". It is the most salable version, and - on the surface - the most innocuous. Sort of seems to make sense, and not too invasive. But it is. It will be designed to grow and take over everything. It would be a mistake to assume he can't get it done but there IS a lot of vocal opposition to the public option right now. I'm not saying they can't finesse it politically -- you can't count him out -- but I think it would be a tough climb.
