I guess you're right. I left the Detroit area 15 years ago because I thought the auto companies would sink then. Heavy legacy costs, and most people could only afford to lease a new car, not buy. GM board were yes men and the young Ford boy was incomplete in many ways.

I was wrong by more than a decade but I moved to SW Florida because I thought interior design would be booming here and it did for 13 years. In retrospect, I've been lucky by being early. Not difficult for someone on my end of the boomer demographic.

I'm no different from most here on this board. MP
