As with all things economic, it depends on which economist you ask. If you ask an Obama supporter, they might say "3%".

Just about everybody says 3%... except the wingnuts. I said 25+ because I was being cautious and I think 3% is a stretch.

You totally ignore that the economy has been tanking from the Bush 'Great Recession' that started in 12/07. When it was taking out the banks, insurance and auto industries at the end of the Bush term it was probable to turn into the 2nd Great Depression. Obama had the right people in place.... and it now looks like things are bottoming and should be getting better in the 4th quarter.

All the actions that have been taken have saved us from unbelievable suffering brought on by the previous admin. You don't have surgery when you have pneumonia... you don't balance the (huge Republican deficit) budget when you are on the verge of depression. That's stupid political posturing.

Once this is over there will be time to cut the deficit and undo the profligate Republican spending/revenue fiasco.
