If they are trying to shut down dialog I don't support it. But so far I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary. The meetings remind me of the taxpayer revolt we had in Maryland. The attendees are acting out of genuine and in my view justified outrage. After all the purpose of the town hall isnt to listen to your congresman recite talking points that you have heard 100 time already. It is for him to understand where you are coming from. I think the attendees are doing this very well.

I think the dems are stifling the debate by shutting down the town halls.

Is it appropriate to stage town hall meetings and White House press conferences with previously approved questions and answers?
