the Japanese cars in the top list are there because they have the right design attributes, not because they are the cheapest cars on the market.

Japanese make better cars. No doubt about it. I've bought almost nothing but Nissans and Infinits since '88.

That's what happens when you have unions in control of the company.

And the bad news is that for GM & Chrysler, it only gets worse -- because the unions are now more in control than ever before.
