It's a lot better than it was under Bush. Remember, it was al-Qaeda who attacked us - not Iraq. Al-Qaeda was in Afghanistan, not Iraq. Why did we invade a country who was not an immediate threat to us and waste $1 Trillion.

Only because Bush started it... then got distracted by more appealing 'low hanging fruit' in Iraq, and left the Afghan/Pak War to twist slowly in the wind.... Allowed the Taliban to regroup and regain their strength.

Essentially, he left the job completely unfinished... which is why we are having to still deal with the problems and the threat today.
