Not true. You can trade in your ford F series Pickup truck for one that gets 1 mpg better and collect 4500.

No one can explain why there are no clunkers older than 25 years however.

I remember this car well...very unstable on the road. I remember being quite nervous on the road. The UAW sabotaged the design I suppose.
