Had my first raws at age 19, introduced to me by my opera and other fine arts mentor, who happened to be my dear late uncle (younger brother of my mother); got 6 pieces on the half shell, ate them and started to consider if I liked them or not. It took another round of half shells, maybe a year later, to make me decide, that this is good stuff, the best - and part of a life style. Could imagine, however, that this is a like one must develop early on in life - or never. Just like opera, by the way. In particular so Dick Wagner, as he goes under friends :) Taro
