if you wash them down with a shot you'll be ok.

I read somewhere a long time ago. There was big picnic or fair and they serve raw Oysters, well a bunch were bad.

about 50% People who didn't drink that ate them got sick

about 20% who drank beer/wine got sick

and about 1-5% of those who drank hard stuff got sick.

I have a degree in microbiology and biochem...I can't eat them raw....a little knowledge is a dangerous thing...<g>

I'm as much for eating good food as the next guy.

But if you look at it and it really doesn't look appealing to you, I just don't see the point.

I do like dead cow and have no hesitancy about eating it. But I don't eat dogs or cats. Or raw oysters.
