Man I must live in a different world . I got called twice to work in the resource field this summer , one a cold call . In my community the house sales are going up and the prices have not dropped at all , maybe level but not dropped . Most of the crap is going for 5 to 6 hundred grand . There are new vehicles being driven all over the place , mostly big fraggin diesel trucks . Driving back from my work site on Vancouver island I was surprised at the number of trailers and boats being towed on the island high way . At one point we counted 13 of the rigs in a row .
I was at Crappy tire today - the place was jammed . Considering my local parts store has most parts for 30% less than crappy tire most of the folks do not seem to concerned about what they are paying .
Yah some places have add their butts handed to them but it sure as heck is not going on everywhere.
