Unless Iran becomes more secular, Iraq's government is very likely to still be more secular than Iran's, possibly more secular than the Iraqi government is now.

Did you read that report by that Ross fellow in which he said that we should just pullout now because the Iraqis don't really want to have anything to do with us?

If it makes some good arguments than go ahead and post them.

I guess you said Iraq was an "Arab" Shia country to sort of differentiate them from Iran because that's a "Persian" Shia country.

They are properly differentiated. Iraq's government is led by Arab Shia (no quotes, they are really Arabs they're not pretending). The minority powers are Arab and Kurdish Sunni.
