Who is suggesting immunity?

you will fear going to the doctor or hospital for care

I think you just had a psychic channeling the future experience....better go lie down and put a pillow under your head.

absolutely true. However, that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be some sort of tort reform. In fact, that is where this all should have started. Funny that one of the biggest issues with health care costs is the lawyers and yet it is completely ignored. Lawyers taking care of lawyers by ignoring that.

oh wait, you're a lawyer, aren't you? I guess we know why you dismissed that one.

I have a legal question....if a veteran goes to the VA hospital and gets treatment that is negligent and that causes him harm, can that veteran sue the VA hospital without getting special permission from the Federal Government?

No one is suggesting immunity - that said award limits and perhaps awards based on peer review as it's done in Germany - not by regular civilians that don't understand medical procedures in general.

The problem is that the government has and will have immunity for its decisions relative to healthcare.

So when an Obama bureaucrat decides that you don't get a pacemaker, Ken, you will have no recourse other than to have a long talk with your mandatory end of life counselor.
