They ALREADY HAVE confirmed that in public statements.

(The original period document still exists in their records vault, although it is no longer the official birth certificate that the state issues these days, ever since they moved to an electronic records system some years back and their their state forms. And, they have confirmed that the information on the [issued] current birth certificate is accurate... all particulars listed on the current state form are identical with the information listed on the old document.)
