fade clinton, the commodity trader;

once stripped of her special advantages in execution (blackhawk down somalia experience took the wind of of her husband in so far as africa goes) and isolated from spinners that can sell news to unthinkers (sudan milk powder factory gave the show away on her husband's intelligence and judgement), is out of her depth

message just in in-tray

re. go, a friend of mine in london is a passable player (for a westerner); he tried to explain a little of it to me, and i soon realized that this is a game of incredible strategic depth and very difficult to learn. i play chess fairly well for an amateur, but i note, in chess, most computers are already better than humans, but in go, there is no computer that can even play the game yet (there have been a few tries to write go software, but it is apparently hopeless at this stage).

Any country investing mightily in Africa needs to look at the recent history of DeBeers in South Africa, Mugabe in Zimbabwe, Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone and on and on....

Nothing is permanent in Africa, ever....

Graft, corruption attain new heights in Africa...

Yes Africa has the natural resources and...Diamonds and Gold and Nickel and Chromium and on and on and now they even have Elmats telephones and fiber optics...

"Nice house, no one home" comes to mind....

Africa remains complex and mysterious...

Billions of $$$ to be made in Africa off of Africa...

Africa is Mogadishu, Somalia....
