That's it! If Brazil is truly the "Saudi Arabia of ethanol" as you claim, then PBR can build a fleet of ULECs (Ultra Large Ethanol Carriers) and flood the hungry energy markets of Asia!

As someone who has intimately examined the cost of ethanol production in Brazil over several months on assignment at one of Brazil's largest mills and distilleries years ago as part of a M&A DD assignment, I would like to see the source of the statement indicating the price of ethanol is below the cost of production. I really do not think most people understand how low the true cash cost of ethanol is in Brazil. A statement like that is akin to yelling fire in a theatre IMO. The author does not care, obviously (or maybe he does a little too much).
