Maybe Gladney had been reported to flag@whitehouse.gov and they sent those SEIU guys out to teach him a lesson.

PALIN SEES 'INTIMIDATION' AND 'HARASSMENT' AS BAD FOR P.R....

A certain former governor has added yet another intriguing message to her Facebook page. Jonathan Martin reports:

A few days after suggesting that Democratic healthcare proposals being debated in Washington may imperil the life of her son, Trig, Sarah Palin Sunday urged reform opponents to not give the opposition fodder by disrupting town halls. [...]

"There are many disturbing details in the current bill that Washington is trying to rush through Congress, but we must stick to a discussion of the issues and not get sidetracked by tactics that can be accused of leading to intimidation or harassment," Palin wrote. "Such tactics diminish our nation's civil discourse which we need now more than ever because the fine print in this outrageous health care proposal must be understood clearly and not get lost in conscientious voters' passion to want to make elected officials hear what we are saying. Let's not give the proponents of nationalized health care any reason to criticize us."

I see. So, on Friday, President Obama intends to create a "death panel" that would kill special-needs children, reforming the health care system into something "downright evil." On Monday, it's important not to "diminish our nation's civil discourse." Wise words, to be sure.

Keep in mind, this probably shouldn't be seen as Palin walking her vile criticism back. Her message, rather, seems to be aimed at the far-right protestors who've been disrupting public events and discussions. She thinks they ought to be mindful of their "tactics," not because mob tactics are offensive, but because she believes health care reform would be awful and "intimidation or harassment" might be bad for public relations.

I don't think it occurs to Palin that far-right activists might be less inclined to intimidate and harass if their leaders stopped telling them that the White House wants to kill children and their grandparents.
