(R)'s put the 'NO' in innovation. That's what killed Detroit. The government had to MANDATE they evolve.

Well, duh. Taxpayers have, after all, injected billions upon billions into GM. So, yeah, we'll see "improvement" -- until the UAW depletes THAT money, too. Then what?

I doubt GM was run by R's. As I recall they were almost a liberal as GE. Though I may have then mixed with General Foods or some other General.
