Well, duh. Taxpayers have, after all, injected billions upon billions into GM. So, yeah, we'll see "improvement" -- until the UAW depletes THAT money, too. Then what?

Smart. Protect your downside just in case GM is a success going forward.

And btw I am not an astute investor. Had I been......I would have been in cash all last year and not taken a beating that now jeopardizes my financial health.
