I don't see any price gouging, at least not in the Chicago suburbs. I'm driving a 1991 Caddy Seville that my father in law gave me two years ago to the local Honda dealer and purchasing a new Civic LX today. The sticker on the Civic is $19,000 and they are selling it to me for $16,270, less the $4500, for a net of $11,800...
