No need to listen to the Dr. he doesn't have a clue how bad shape the company is in or how the street is perceiving this no good mother of all dog stocks.

He tells us he will make shareholders happy. Which shreholders is he referring to ? Those who bought at $15 or those who will be buying at $7 1/2. Why hasn't he bought some himself if he is really confident that the stock is about to take of.

I for one would not bet "long" on his statement. BorderManager is all they have and only God knows what kind of sales he is talking about. The info. I recently collected from eight fortune 500 companies is that they don't have a clue as to what BorderManager is nevermind installing it on their servers.

The Dr. is trying to take us out to lunch. He knows very well NetWare sales are drying up and that NDS for NT is a big question mark at this time. Wait until MSFT shows their muscle and packages their DS with NT 5.0 for free. Who would want NDS for NT then ? No differnet than packaging Internet Explorer with Windows 95 to drive Netscape out of business.

Notice that MSFT no longer compares NT with NetWare 4.x in its marketing campaigns. Thats because, MSFT knows they have changed the landscape and need not provide publicity to NetWare. By integrating
MSFT products with their own O/S, Novell has little chance in succeeding getting NDS on NT. Watch MSFT screw up NDS for NT in a big way...then users will conclude NDS has some major flaws.

NOVL is finished if it remains independent. Shareholders should have the right to vote. Our Dr. is way out of line on future expectations.
His Ph.D in Computer Science is insufficient for him to turn around this company. He is a scientist...not a businessman. What more should one say to a nerd to convince him to tie the knot.

The guy is a real 100% nerd...a JAVA nerd and nothing more. I will send him my grandma's sunglasses to wear so that others can see thru him.

V.K

P.S Dr. Nerd, quit playing and listen to the market. You know didly squat about leading NOVL in the right direction.
