Amen. My proposal is very simple as regards banks. The officers of any bank that goes bankrupt should go to jail. It is next to impossible to lose money in banking if you follow well known sound banking practices.

I think that the problem in our system is that the bankers are too smart by half. They work at making themselves rich, but fail miserably in their duty to depositers.
