The Dow/gold ratio says we are in 1975,
not 1982 yet, so gold is waiting for a bubble.

However, selective investment in stocks is ok, since
this is not 1930 like so many are assuming. I think emerging
markets will outperform and emerging economies will keep growing
very rapidly. We are well down the road of a secular bear already ( inflation adjusted)
I don't think we are going to see secular nominal bear, and 666 was
likely a level that will never be seen again.

Overall, derivative regulation is coming to marketplace,
we will have to monitor closely the BIS numbers to see
if they can gradually disarm the bomb. If the notional
keeps growing rapidly, then you will be right.

One thing I am pretty sure about for now is
that we will see significant inflation once the
recovery takes hold.

What are your thoughts on silver? Couldn't find any references on your site.
