This is obviously a lie.

But the point is there are hundreds of factors that are much more important than life expectancy. Not 1 or 2 or 10, but hundreds.

And anyone who would try to sustain Bentway's argument is either ignorant or liar.

I think the biggest factor in longevity is probably genetics. That said, there's nothing about American genetics in particular to make us shorter-lived than anyone else.
